Employee Benefits
- Every employee of a member company is entitled to TNLA member
benefits like discounts on education, certification, car rentals,
etc. Member companies may sign up as many individuals as they
want to receive TNLA’s monthly “calendar”
e-mail. However, only the primary contact person for any TNLA
business member will have TNLA mail addressed to them. Individual
membership types Associate, Educator/Student, and
Government Employee only provide services to that
individual.
Business Memberships
- Businesses may join TNLA as Single Outlet, Multiple
Outlet – Primary, Multiple Outlet – Outlet, or
Out of State Members. In these cases, all employees of
the member business are entitled to all appropriate member
benefits. Some individuals are eligible to join TNLA as Associate,
Educator/Student, or Government Employee Members. Please
refer to the Membership Application to learn more about member
types and costs.
Multiple Outlet Businesses
- Businesses that operate facilities in more than one TNLA
region according to the regions
map are considered Multiple Outlet Members. As
such, they must maintain both a Primary Business Membership
for their main location and at least one outlet membership
in each region operated in besides that of the Primary Member.
To join as a Multiple Outlet business, or to add Outlet Memberships,
complete a new membership
application for each outlet.
Many members choose to join all their locations as Outlet
Members. This allows branch locations to receive TNLA
information directly in their mailbox. Outlet members are
entitled to all the benefits of regular membership. Outlet
Memberships can only exist when/if a primary business member
is also maintained.
Associate Memberships
- Sometimes individual employees of member
companies choose to join as Associate Members.
This allows the individual to receive TNLA mailings at their
home address or any address they choose. Alternatively, individuals
employed by companies that are not eligible for any other
bype of memberhsip can join as Associate Members.
Pro-Rated Dues - TNLA’s
calendar year runs from March to February.
All memberships end at the end of February unless renewed.
New Business Memberships are pro-rated on a monthly basis
starting at the Nursery/Landscape Expo in August. Please refer
to the membership
application for more details.
All TNLA members can take pride in the knowledge that they
are supporting the industry that sustains them. While our
member benefits make TNLA membership a worthwhile investment,
many longtime TNLA members will say that it’s the intangibles
that make TNLA membership priceless – the contacts made,
the information learned, the community experience, etc.
