TNLA Region V came to Austin on July 28, 2010 to receive the (DADS) Vision Award for their efforts on behalf of the Denton State School. 

TNLA Region V was selected as the Group Winner in the Choice Category Vision Award.

Since 2002, TNLA Region V has held an annual Wild Game Fest dinner and auction. The annual event raises thousands of dollars for Denton State Supported Living Center while building awareness & support for Denton's 580 residents. Sam Weger, TNLA Region V State Director accepted the award.
