Program Overview
The TNLA Leadership Bootcamp, created by the TNLA Foundation, is a training program designed to develop leaders in the Texas Green Industry. Twenty participants attend four sessions focused on building professional leadership skills and applying them in everyday work.
The program combines knowledge-based topics with interactive formats such as roundtable discussions, panels, Q&A sessions, group activities, and assignments between sessions to encourage problem-solving and solution-based management. The Bootcamp is open to Green Industry professionals.
TNLA Leadership Bootcamp Class VI Schedule:
Session 1: August 11, 2026 in SA during EXPO
Session 2: October 19, 2026 tour and Oct. 20 in-person education - Houston
Session 3: December 8, 2026 Tour and December 9 in-person education – Austin Area
Session 4: February 22, 2026 in-person education and Graduation February 24, 2026 – Waco Convention Center, Waco, TX (in conjunction with the Lone Star Hort Forum)

Program Application Process
Application must be submitted prior to the deadline. The next Round of Applications will be accepted starting in the Spring. The fee to apply is $1,100 for members and $1,400 for non-members (the fee covers all four sessions, tours, books and additional supporting educational material). Limited spots available. If you are not accepted into the program, you will receive a full refund of your application fee.
To be eligible to apply, the candidate must have worked for the current employer for one year.
Note: Participation in the TNLA Leadership Bootcamp is tied to the applicant’s current employment with the sponsoring company. If the participant leaves their employer—voluntarily or involuntarily—before completing the program, no refunds will be issued to the sponsoring company. Participants are responsible for notifying TNLA immediately of any change in employment status.
