TNLA, alongside several other green industries associations, sent the following letter to the City of Austin, expressing our concern about the misplaced focus. You can read the letter HERE TNLA grower and retail members, in addition to staff, met with TDA Commissioner Sid Miller and his executive staff to discuss the components of a pending compliance agreement impacting retailers in the Houston market. Our association has been negotiating the language of this regulation in the hopes of allowing the continued sale of certified clean citrus in the entire Houston market. Our thanks to TDA for taking the meeting regarding our concerns, and thank you to all of our members who have been involved in the process.
