TNLA Foundation Scholarship
The importance of educating students to assume leadership and ownership positions in agriculture/horticulture over the coming decades is critical. The love of the land and the care of it are essential to future of Texas.
Since 1966, the Foundation, TAN and TNLA have awarded 750 scholarships totaling $1,090,050.
This year the TNLA Foundation was able to provide $18,250 in scholarship awards to a group of up-and-coming professionals who will graduate from a Texas College and enter into the Green Industry workforce. To review the list of these amazing individuals click here.
The Foundation has worked hard to develop a scholarship program that sustains itself, gives new donors a meaningful way to give and cultivates applicants and encourages recipients to identify with the industry of which they are interested.
The Foundation believes in rewarding youth for hard work and what they would like to give to the industry. We continue to cast our net to a broader reach into the high school, community colleges, universities, FFA, etc. where tomorrow’s leaders gather. We hope that through our scholarship program we can provide options of successful agriculture careers in the Green Industry.
