TNLA Leadership Bootcamp
Program Overview
The TNLA Leadership Bootcamp established by the TNLA Foundation is a professional training program designed to develop Texas Green Industry leaders both professionally and personally. Twenty individuals selected for the program will take part in four sessions. The sessions are designed to help participants learn professional leadership skillsets, and know how to apply these in their daily practices. This program is open to professionals in the Green Industry. Programming includes a mixture of knowledge-based topics which include engaging discussion facilitated via roundtables, panels, Q&A sessions, small/large group activities, assignments between sessions, among other approaches in order to promote problem-solving and solution-based management. Application Process for TNLA Leadership Bootcamp Class IV
The deadline to apply for TNLA's Leadership Bootcamp Class IV has passed. You must represent a green industry business/company to be eligible to apply (including retail garden centers, growers, suppliers, landscape, and irrigation companies). Regardless of where you are within your Green Industry career, the Leadership Bootcamp will help you grow! The fee to apply is $1,000 for members and $1,300 for non-members (the fee covers all four sessions). (Multiple individuals from the same company ARE eligible to apply.) Steps to applying for the TNLA Leadership Bootcamp:
- Get your supervisor to fill out and then submit the Supervisor Support Form (download form here)
- Submit a Letter of Recommendation from your company's CEO, director or direct supervisor (letter of recommendation is different than the Supervisor Support Form).
- Provide a headshot? This does not need to be a professional photograph but something you don't mind seeing on a jumbotron or printed in a brochure.
- Did you proofread your bio, the information you provide will be placed in printed publications
- Pay your application fee $1,000 for members and $1,300 for non-members (if you are not selected for the program, your application fee will immediately be refunded to the card on file.)

Class IV Leadership Bootcamp Session Dates:

- Exclusive Leadership Education Sessions, four part series over the course of August 2024-Janurary 2025
- Mentor that will be assigned to each Bootcamp individual that will allow for career insight and access to an experienced professional
- Personal assessment providing individuals with a new perspective about work style and strengths
- Selected individuals will receive a complimentary entry into the Nursery/Landscape EXPO Education Offerings & Tradeshow, and the 2025 Lonestar Hort Forum
- All participants will earn CEUs based on the total number of education hours per session.
