The TNLA Foundation was established in 1992.  A nine-member Board of Trustees plus two staff-appointed positions manage the business of the Foundation.
The main purposes of the Foundation are:
  • To conduct fundraising activities on behalf of and to support the overall purposes of the Foundation.
  • To operate exclusively for the purposes of awarding funds to horticulture/landscape students for their continued education and to award funds for research in horticulture/landscape areas of interest in Texas.
  • To enhance the future of the industry by offering educational programs for professional development, mentorship, and leadership

The TNLA Foundation is irrevocably dedicated to and is organized exclusively for charitable purposes.  The Foundation receives contributions and distributes funds for educational and research purposes.
Funding comes from individuals and companies making special contributions. No money collected from members of TNLA automatically goes to the Foundation. It is a separate corporation with separate budgets. That’s why donations to the Foundation are so important to the Green Industry.

WAYS TO GIVE
DONATE TO A SCHOLARSHIP: Named Scholarship $1,000 per year for three years total commitment. A Named Scholarship carries the name of your choice. Endowments are established in the amount of $10,000 or more and will never go below the original contribution. The donor designates the scholarship name for an Endowment. The endowment corpus may increase by receiving future designated contributions. The endowment will be invested in accordance with the Foundation investment policy. (Scholarships are awarded annually when the interest generated by the endowment plus any additional donations reach a level to fully fund the scholarship. The Foundation trustees are responsible for selecting scholarship recipients.) Donate Today!
